SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

Approved April 29, 1935.

CHAPTER 595.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
65 and 75 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land, title "Elections, " sub-title "Ballots and Ballot-
Boxes, " and Section 80 of Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Elections, " sub-title "Count of
the Ballots, " to permit the voters of Worcester, Howard,
Kent, Queen Anne's, Talbot and Dorchester Counties to
vote for all the candidates of any political party by so
indicating at only one place on the ballot.

CHAPTER 596.

AN ACT to add five new sections to Article 88B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, title "State Police, " as said
Article was enacted by the Acts of 1935, said new sections
to be known as Sections 30, 31, 32, 33 and 34, and to fol-
low immediately after Section 29 of said Article, so as to
provide for the establishment of a pension or retirement
system for the employees of the Department of Maryland
State Police and the license examiners of the Commis-
sioner of Motor Vehicles.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That five new sections be and they are hereby
added to Article 88B of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
title "State Police, " as said Article was enacted by the Acts
of 1935, said new sections to be known as Sections 30, 31,
32, 33 and 34, to follow immediately after Section 29 of
said Article, and to read as follows:

30. Whenever any of the employees of the Department
of Maryland State Police and any of the license examiners
of the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall have given
meritorious service as such employee for a period of ten
continuous years, and shall have reached the age of 55
