of the Thirteenth Election District of Montgomery Coun-
ty, Maryland, to operate on the Sabbath, commonly called
Sunday, in the usual manner, provided, however, that no
such alley shall operate between midnight Saturday and
one o'clock, P. M., Sunday.

483M. Any person violating any of the provisions of
Sections 483H, 483-1, 483J, 483K and 483L shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction there-
of shall be subject to a fine of not less than five dollars nor
more than one hundred dollars ($100. 00) for each and
every such violation.

And be it further enacted, That all acts or parts of acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and they are
hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
May first, 1935.

CHAPTER 581.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
748 and 749 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick Coun-
ty, " sub-title "Taxes, " changing certain dates as to the
allowing of discounts and the payment of interest and
permitting the payment of taxes in instalments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 748 and 749 of Article 11 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Frederick County, " sub-title "Taxes, " be and they
are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, -to
read as follows:

748. The County Commissioners are authorized and
empowered, in their discretion, to allow a discount not ex-
ceeding five per cent, upon all county taxes paid on or be-
fore the first day of July in each year after the date of
their levy, and to provide in their county levy for such dis-
count.
