which tax shall be collected by the County Treasurer as
other taxes are collected. The proceeds from said tax shall
be payable by the County Treasurer upon proper vouchers
submitted by the Trustees of the Silver Spring Public
Library Association. Provided, however, that the said
Trustees of the Silver Spring Public Library Association
shall employ a trained librarian to have charge of said
Library and the proceeds of said tax may be used for pay-
ing the salary of said librarian and for the purchase of
books or for the payment of other expenses in connection
with the maintenance of said library.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

CHAPTER 532.

AN ACT to add three new Sections to Article 33 of Bag-
by's Annotated Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, Edition of 1924, title "Elections", the same pro-
viding for the acquisition and use of voting machines
in any or all of the polling places in the Wheaton and
Bethesda election districts of Montgomery County, pro-
viding for the form of the ballot labels to be used on
voting machines used in any of the polling places in
the Wheaton and Bethesda election districts of Mont-
gomery County, and providing for the number of vot-
ing machines to be furnished each polling place using
voting machines in said Wheaton and Bethesda elec-
tion districts of Montgomery County, and for the repeal
of laws or portions of laws in conflict herewith.

SECTION 1. Be it Enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That three new sections are hereby added to
Article 33 of Bagby's Annotated Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, Edition of 1924, title "Elections, " the
same to follow immediately after Section 224A (enacted
as Chapter 228 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1933), to be numbered Section -224B, 224C,
and 224D, and to read as follows:

224B. The Board of Supervisors of Election of Mont-
gomery County, with the approval of the Board of County
Commissioners of said County, are authorized and em-
