CHAPTER 525.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Tal-
bot County, " sub-title "St. Michaels, " said new section to
be known as Section 469A and to follow immediately after
Section 469 of said Article, providing advertisements for
bids on public work costing more than a certain sum.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Talbot County, " sub-title "St. Mich-
aels, " said new section to be known as Section 469A, to
follow immediately after Section 469 of said Article, and to
read as follows:

469A. The Commissioners of St. Michaels shall adver-
tise for bids on all public work to be done by said Commis-
sioners where the cost of said work will amount to One
Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150. 00) or over and the con-
tract for said work shall be awarded to the lowest respon-
sible bidder; provided, however, that the said Commission-
ers shall have the right to reject any and all bids.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1935.

AN ACT to add four new Sections to Article 14, Public
Local Laws of Maryland, (Chapter 323 Acts of 1924),
Title "Howard County, " sub-title "An act to authorize
and empower the Judges of the Circuit Court for How-
ard County to appoint a Court Stenographer, " by add-
ing four new Sections to follow immediately after Sec-
