CHAPTER 486.

AN ACT to make valid all deeds and conveyances heretofore
made by or in the name of The Committee of The Presby-
terian Church in Snow Hill, in Worcester County, and all
other Acts of said Committee.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That no deed or conveyance heretofore executed
or made by or in the name of The Committee of The Pres-
byterian Church in Snow Hill, in Worcester County, and
no other Act heretofore made, done, executed or performed
by or in the name of said Committee shall be deemed in-
valid because any or all of the members of said Committee
acting as such shall not have been duly elected and quali-
fied in accordance with law, but any and all deeds and
conveyances heretofore made by or in the name of The
Committee of The Presbyterian Church in Snow Hill, in
Worcester County, whether in said corporate name or un-
der the name of The Committee of The Presbyterian Church
in Snow Hill, in Worcester County, in the State of Mary-
land, and under the corporate seal of said corporation, and
all other acts heretofore done and performed by or in the
name of said Committee under either of the aforesaid
names are hereby declared to be and are hereby made as
valid, binding and effectual as though all of the members
of said Committee had been duly elected and qualified as
provided by law.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, as aforesaid, That
this Act is hereby declared to be an emergency law and
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
health and safety, and being passed upon a yea and nay
vote, supported by three-fifths of the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.
