the interest thereon shall be and remain exempt from
State, county and municipal taxes of every kind whatso-
ever in the State of Maryland.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary
for the immediate preservation of public health and safety
and, having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported
by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 13.
AN ACT to repeal certain acts or parts of acts, laws or
parts of laws, dealing with the fiscal affairs of Mont-
gomery County, viz.: Section 2 of Chapter 544 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1933; Sec-
tions 236, 237 and 238 of Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title, "Mont-
gomery County, " sub-title, "Temporary Loans, " as en-
acted by Chapter 318 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1927; Chapter 318 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1927 and Chapter
192 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1931 arid Chapter 231 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1933, as said sections and Acts
were severally enacted or repealed and re-enacted with
amendments; Sections 629, 630, 631, 632, 633, 634,
635, 636, 637, 638, 639, 640, 641 and 642 of
Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title, "Montgomery County, " sub-title,
"Montgomery County Suburban District, " as said sec-
tions were enacted by Chapter 692 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1927; Chapter 356 of
which repealed and re-enacted with amendments Section
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1929
8 of Chapter 692 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1927; Chapter 156 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of 1933 which added or pur-
ported to add a new section to Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), to be
known as Section 637A; and also to validate and confirm
