Section 312. Licenses issued under the provisions of
this Act shall not be regarded as property or as conferring
any property rights, all such licenses shall be subject to
suspension, restriction, or revocation under the rulings of
the Court.
Section 313. No more than one license provided by this
Act, except by way of renewal, unless specifically set forth
in this Act, shall be issued to any person or persons or for
the use of any partnership, corporation, or unincorporated
association in said County. Every license shall be appropri-
ately numbered by the official issuing the same.
Section 314. Upon the death of the holder of any license
prior to the expiration of the same, upon application made
by the Executor or Administrator of the deceased licensee
and upon the payment of a fee of $1. 00, a certificate of per-
mission may be granted by said Clerk for the continuation
of the business of said licensee in the name of such Execu-
tors or Administrators for the benefit of the Estate for the
period as shall remain to the expiration of said license and
during the period of such continuation of said license, said
Executors or Administrators shall be subject to all the pro-
visions of this Act.
Section 315. Any holder of a license under the provi-
sions of this Act may be permitted to transfer his place of
business to some other location or to sell or assign said li-
cense to another person, provided that application for such
transfer or sale shall be made and duly advertised and the
new location or assignee shall be approved as in the case
of an original application for such license. Such transfer
or assignment when made shall be endorsed upon the license
by the Clerk upon the payment of a fee of $1. 00 in addition
to the cost of publication and notice which shall be paid at
the time of the filing of the application for such transfer
or sale.
Section 316. No license shall be issued to a partnership
as such, but only to the partners as individuals. No license
shall be issued to a corporation or unincorporated associa-
tion as such, but only to one or more individuals duly auth-
orized to act for the corporation or association, and such
individuals shall assume all of the responsibilities, and be
subject to all of the penalties, conditions and restrictions
imposed upon licensees under the provisions of this Act.
