the license bond or license bonds required by this Act, and
such bonds shall be approved by the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Allegany County in the same manner as if there
were two persons sureties thereon.

Section 308. The Clerk shall keep an accurate record
of every license issued by him under the provisions of this
Act and shall also keep an accurate record of all revoca-
tions, suspensions, cancellations, and assignments of li-
censes, which said records shall be open to inspection by
any citizen of said County at all times during regular busi-
ness hours.

Section 309. Every license issued under the provisions
of this Article shall be upon forms prescribed by the
Comptroller or Clerk and shall be dated as of the date of
issue, and shall expire at the end of the 30th day of April
next after its issuance, except as may be specifically made
otherwise by some provision of this Act; and the Clerk
shall have power to issue licenses hereunder at any time
prior to the 30th day of April, and when such term of issu-
ance shall be for a period of less than one year, he shall
charge license fees at the rate of one-twelfth of the full
license fee for each month or part of month which the said
license shall have to run unto the said 30th day of April
next.

Section 310. Every person receiving a license under
the provision of this Act shall frame his license under glass
and place the same so that it shall at all times be conspicu-
ous and easily read in his place of business, and in the
event such license shall be lost or destroyed, he shall im-
mediately secure from the Clerk, upon application under
oath and upon the payment of a fee of $1. 00, a duplicate of
the original license which the Clerk shall issue to him in
the exact form of the original, which shall have the word
"Duplicate" written across the face thereof and said dupli-
cate shall be displayed in the same manner as herein pro-
vided for the original license.

Section 311. All renewals of all licenses issued here-
under shall be made as of the first day of May in each year
and no person or persons theretofore having a license
under this Act shall be permitted to carry on the business
for which such expired license has been issued unless a
new license shall be secured under all the provisions of this
Act.
