Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas of Baltimore City, if
the place of business is located in said City, and shall au-
thorize the holder thereof to keep for sale and sell beer and
light wines at retail at any hotel or restaurant, at the place
therein described, for consumption on the premises or else-
where. The annual fee for such a license shall be Sixty
Dollars ($60. 00), and shall be payable to said clerk, be-
fore any such license is issued, for distribution as herein-
after provided.

This Section shall not apply to Allegany, Anne Arundel,
Calvert, Caroline, Dorchester, Frederick, Garrett, Harford,
Howard, Kent, Queen Anne's, St. Mary's, Somerset and
Talbot counties.

The hours during which the privileges conferred by such
a license may be exercised shall be from 6 A. M. to 12
o'clock midnight except in Baltimore City and Baltimore
and Washington counties where the hours shall be from 6
A. M. until 2 A. M. on the day following and except in Prince
George's County where the closing hours shall not apply,
but the holder of such license shall not be permitted to make
any sale on the day of any general, special or primary elec-
tion.

BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSE. CLASS C. (ON
SALE) CLUBS. Such a license shall be issued by the
Clerk of the Circuit Court of the County in which the place
of business is located, or by the Clerk of the Court of Com-
mon Pleas of Baltimore City, if the place of business is lo-
cated in said City, and shall authorize the holder thereof
to keep for sale and sell beer and light wines, at retail, to
bona fide members and their guests, at any club, at the
place therein described, for consumption on the premises
only. The annual fee for such a license shall be Thirty-five
Dollars ($35. 00) and shall be payable to said clerk, before
any such license is issued, for distribution as hereinafter
provided.

This Section shall not apply to Allegany, Anne Arundel,
Calvert, Caroline, Dorchester, Frederick, Garrett, Harford,
Howard, Kent, Queen Anne's, St. Mary's, Somerset and Tal-
bot counties.
