issue of said bonds. Unless the whole amount of said Series
C Bonds shall have been previously redeemed and if The
Mayor and City Council of Havre de Grace shall determine
to redeem a number of said bonds less than the whole
amount thereof, then, at least two weeks prior to any such
interest date, The Mayor and City Council of Havre de
Grace shall determine the number of bonds so to be re-
deemed and shall thereupon select in the order of their con-
secutive numbers, the specific bonds of said series thus en-
titled to redemption. When the bonds of either Series shall
have been selected for redemption in the ways prescribed
above for each of said Series respectively, The Mayor and
City Council of Havre de Grace shall give notice by ad-
vertisement in two newspapers published in said munici-
pality, if so many there be, of the Series letters and num-
bers of said bonds so selected for redemption, and of the
place and time of payment, and interest shall cease to be
payable on said bonds so called for redemption from and
after the date so fixed for the redemption thereof.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted by the General
Assembly of Maryland, That the proceeds of the sale of the
three Series of said bonds hereby authorized, including any
premium received therefor, shall be paid to the Treasurer
of The Mayor and City Council of Havre de Grace, and
shall by him be deposited in some bank or trust company
located in the City of Havre de Grace, in the State of Mary-
land, in a special account to be designated "The Mayor and
City Council of Havre de Grace—Refunding Bond Ac-
count. " After the payment of all expenses reasonably in-
cident to the preparation, printing, issuance and sale of
said bonds, the balance of the proceeds of the sale thereof,
saving any accrued interest thereon, and premium received
therefor, which shall be set aside for the next maturing
coupon on said bonds, shall be devoted exclusively to the
purpose of paying off or redeeming the following obliga-
tions of The Mayor and City Council of Havre de Grace:

(a) $20, 000. 00 aggregate principal amount of Havre
de Grace Sewer Bonds bearing interest at the rate of five
per centum (5%) per annum, dated June 1, 1908, and is-
sued and sold pursuant to the authority of Chapter 276 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
its regular Session in the year 1908, and subject to redemp-
tion at any time after ten years from said date of issue;

(b) $27, 000. 00 aggregate principal amount of the
Floating Debt Bonds of The Mayor and City Council of
Havre de Grace, bearing interest at the rate of five per
