SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Board of Public Works of Maryland
be and is hereby authorized and directed to transfer to the
control of the State Roads Commission for road purposes
such right of way through this property as may be nec-
essary under the plans of the said proposed highway, upon
such terms and conditions as are agreed upon between the
State Forester and the State Roads Commission.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Board of
Public Works be and it is authorized to execute or cause
to be executed such deeds, conveyances, agreements or
other instruments as shall be necessary to effect and trans-
fer the property described in the preceding section of this
Act.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted. That this Act is an
emergency law and necessary for the immediate preserva-
tion of the public health and safety, and for maintaining
the State Government and having passed by a yea and nay
vote by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of
the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 147.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 68 of the Acts of 1924, entitled
"An Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sec-
tions 6 and 9 of Chapter 430 of the Acts of 1920 entitled
'An Act to provide for the building, improving, con-
struction and reconstruction of public roads in Talbot
County, Maryland, and to appoint a Commission to su-
pervise and manage said improvement, construction and
reconstruction of same and to authorize and provide for
the issuing of coupon bonds to defray the costs and ex-
penses thereof, the said Chapter being a local law for
Talbot County, so as to use the proceeds of the bond
issue provided for in said Chapter in paying Talbot
County's share of the cost of building Lateral Post and
State Aid Roads. ' "
