proved by the County Commissioners of said Montgomery
County, conditioned that he will well and faithfully exe-
cute the duties and obligations of Justice of the Peace, and
that he will account for and pay over to the said Board of
County Commissioners and to the said Town of Takoma
Park, respectively, all fees, fines, penalties, forfeitures and
costs imposed by him and due said County or said Town
respectively, as herein provided. The said Police Justice
shall be paid a salary of Twelve Hundred Dollars
($1200. 00) per annum, which shall include all expenses
in connection with the duties of his office. Of his salary,
the sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600. 00) per annum
shall be paid by the Town of Takoma Park, Maryland,
from its general revenues, and the remaining Six Hun-
dred Dollars ($600. 00) per annum shall be paid by the
County Commissioners of Montgomery County; and the
said County Commissioners of Montgomery County are
hereby authorized, empowered and directed to include in
their next annual levy an amount necessary to pay the
said portion of the salary of the said Police Justice so to
be paid by the said County. The said Police Justice shall
have all the powers vested in and shall perform all the
duties now required of the Police Justice for Montgomery
County, but his additional jurisdiction shall be limited to
those offenses committed within the corporate limits of the
Town of Takoma Park within the Thirteenth Election Dis-
trict of said Montgomery County and not elsewhere; but
nothing herein shall be construed as limiting his said pow-
ers as a Justice of the Peace for the entire Thirteenth Elec-
tion District.

On and after the effective date of this Act, the Justice
of the Peace appointed from and residing in that portion
of the Thirteenth Election District in Montgomery County,
lying within the bounds of the Town of Takoma Park, as
provided in Chapter 433, Section 489-A of the Acts of the
General Assembly, in session in 1933, shall have no juris-
diction to hear and determine violations of an ordinance
of the said Town of Takoma Park, but such jurisdiction
from the effective date hereof shall be vested exclusively
in the Police Justice as provided for herein. The Mayor
and members of the Council of said Town shall have no
authority after the effective date of this Act, to pay a sal-
ary to the Justice of the Peace provided for in said Chap-
ter 433, Section 489-A, nor to supply him with any office
supplies as provided in said last mentioned Act.
