SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 267F of Article 8 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil County, " sub-
title 'Tort Deposit, " as said section was enacted by
Chapter 246 of the Acts of 1922, be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
267F. The President and Commissioners of Port De-
posit may use the proceeds from the sale of said bonds
hereinbefore authorized, but not heretofore issued, for the
acquisition of land for flood control and for wharves and for
making any improvements in connection therewith, which
said President and Commissioners may deem necessary,
beneficial and convenient for the best interests of the town.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed upon by a yea and nay vote, sup-
ported by three-fifths of all of the members elected to
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 80.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 9 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Charles County, " sub-title "Indian Head, " said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 119A and to follow immedi-
ately after Section 119 of said Article, extending the
boundaries of the town of Indian Head.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Charles County, " sub-title "Indian
Head, " said new section to be known as Section 119A, to
follow immediately after Section 119 of said Article, and to
read as follows:
