son or reasons for such disapproval, and call upon said town
Treasurer to make another and accurate report or satis-
factorily explain to said Commission such part or parts of
such report as shall have been disapproved by said Com-
mission. Such notice may be served upon said town Treas-
urer, either personally by any of said Commissioners, or by
posting a copy of the same at the last regular meeting place
of said Commission, or by mailing a copy of same to the
last residence or business address given by said town Treas-
urer to said Commission.

(H) That it shall be the duty of said town Treasurer,
within five (5) days, (including Sundays and legal holi-
days), after being served with the notice referred to fin
Paragraph G, to make to said Commission another and ac-
curate monthly report or satisfactorily explain to said Com-
mission such part or parts of such report as shall have
been disapproved by said Commission. Such explanation
shall be in writing and signed and sworn to by said town
Treasurer. If such town Treasurer shall make such new
report or furnish a sworn statement explaining the report
that shall have been disapproved, it shall be the duty of
said Commission to examine such new report or explana-
tion and approve or disapprove of the same in the same
manner as is provided for in Paragraphs F and G of this
section.

(I) That if said Treasurer shall fail or neglect to make
such regular monthly reports, or shall fail or neglect, upon
the disapproval by said Commission of any such report, to
make another and accurate report or explain satisfactorily
to said Commission such part or parts of such report as
shall have been disapproved by said Commission, or if said
town Treasurer shall otherwise fail or neglect diligently,
faithfully and honestly to discharge all the duties of his.
office, including the duty of attending meetings of said
Commission, said Commission may remove said town
Treasurer from the office of town Treasurer, and, by reso-
lution entered in the minute books of said Commission, ap-
point another person to the office of town Treasurer. Pro-
vided, however, that nothing contained in this paragraph
shall in any wise affect the general power of said Commis-
sion to remove a person from the office of town Treasurer
as provided in Paragraph L of Section S of this Act; and
provided, further, that nothing contained in this para-
graph shall in any wise affect the liability of the person
so removed from the office of town Treasurer, or the liabil-
ity of the surety or sureties on his bond.
