Council of Hagerstown providing for the receipt of rev-
enues, in perpetuity, in aid of said hospital.

7. The real and personal estate authorized by this Act
to be held by the said "The Washington County Hospital
Association, " for the uses and purposes herein provided
for, shall be exempt from all State, county and municipal
taxes so long as the same shall be used for the purposes
herein mentioned.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1936.

CHAPTER 46.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Mont-
gomery County to create a fire taxing area in the Ninth
(9) Precinct of the Thirteenth Election District.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Montgomery
County are hereby authorized and directed to levy and col-
lect a special tax of six cents on each one hundred dollars
of assessed valuation of all property assessed for State
and County taxation within that portion of the Ninth Pre-
cinct of the Thirteenth Election District, as now consti-
tuted, lying outside of the incorporated Town of Takoma
Park, and to pay said special tax to the Takoma Park Vol-
unteer Fire Department, Incorporated, or its legal succes-
sor, as compensation for fire protection thereto; and said
property so assessed shall be exempt from the levy of any
other special tax for fire protection purposes.

At the end of each fiscal year the said Volunteer Fire De-
partment shall submit to the County Commissioners a prop-
erly audited report itemizing expenditures from this fund
provided hereunder.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1936.
