diction to issue restraining orders and temporary or perma-
nent injunction.

As compensation on account of the additional duties im-
posed upon them by this Act, the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Prince George's County, in addition to their com-
pensation now authorized by law, shall each receive Two Hun-
dred Dollars ($200. 00) per annum which shall be paid quar-
terly to them by the Commission beginning May 1, 1929, from
the proceeds of the 3-cent administrative tax levied in Prince
George's County under the provisions of Section 5 of this Act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That if any clause,
sentence, part or parts of this Act, or of any section thereof
shall be held unconstitutional, such unconstitutionality shall
not affect the validity of the remaining parts of this Act or
of any section thereof. The Legislature hereby declares that
it would have passed the remaining parts of this Act or any
section thereof, if it had known such clause, sentence, part or
parts of any section thereof should be declared unconstitu-
tional.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That, except as other-
wise provided herein, all Acts and parts of Acts, laws and
parts of laws, ordinances and parts of ordinances, inconsistent
herewith or contrary hereto, be and the same are hereby re-
pealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the health, morals, safety or welfare
and being passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the
date of its passage.
