aggregate of such rates and charges at all times to be sufficient
to maintain the operation of said system, to keep the same in
repair, to liquidate the indebtedness incurred by said Town on
account of the construction or extension of said system and to
provide for the necessary extension and enlargement of said
system as the necessities of the Town shall from time to time
demand.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said President
and Commissioners of Princess Anne, be and they are hereby
authorized to borrow upon the faith and credit of said munici-
pal corporation a sum of money not to exceed Five Thousand
Dollars, payable in installments of not less than One Thousand
Dollars per year from the date of said loan, with interest pay-
able annually at a rate not exceeding six per cent, and to ex-
ecute the promissory note or notes of the said President and
Commissioners of Princess Anne, for the amount of said loan,
to be signed by the President of said Corporation and counter-
signed by the Clerk, to mature not later than five years from
the execution of said notes, and said notes shall be paid in the
manner and at the time or times herein provided, together with
the interest thereon, from the proceeds of rentals collected by
the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne for supply-
ing water to the inhabitants of said Town.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the said President
and Commissioners of Princess Anne shall use the proceeds from
the loan authorized under Section 2 of this Act, for the pay-
ment of the indebtedness incurred by the said President and
Commissioners of Princess Anne, in and about the extension,
improvement and enlargement of the system of water supply
and distribution made by said President and Commissioners
during the year 1928, and for no other use or purpose.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That before the borrow-
ing of said money or any of it, the question of said borrowing
as aforesaid shall be submitted to a vote of the qualified voters
of Princess Anne, at a special election to be held on May 15,
1929; and there shall be printed on the ballots at said election
the words "For Water Supply Loan" and "Against "Water Sup-
ply Loan, " with a square after said words, in each case, for the
(X) mark of the voter, and the voter may vote thereon by an
(X) mark after his choice, and if there be a majority of votes
cast in favor of said loan, then this Act and the provisions
thereof shall go into effect on June 1, 1929; and if there be a
majority of votes cast against said loan, then this Act shall be
null and void.
