joining the State Armory, in Frederick, Maryland, owned
by the State but not needed for Armory purposes; and to
authorize the Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick to convey
to the State of Maryland, unconditionally, a strip of land
now owned by the Corporation of Frederick, but not used
for municipal purposes, on a part of which a portion of
said Armory is erected, and describing and defining the
State Armory property in Frederick, Maryland.

WHEREAS, the State of Maryland is the owner of a parcel of
unimproved ground, adjoining the State Armory in Fred-
erick, Maryland, hereinafter described, which is not used for
Armory purposes, but which is now used as a part of the
municipal park of the Corporation of Frederick, known as
"Baker Park"; and

WHEREAS, The Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick is the
owner of a strip of land, not used for municipal purposes, on a
part of which a portion of said Armory is erected; and

WHEREAS, The State of Maryland, through its proper offi-
cers, has agreed to convey the hereinafter described real estate
to the Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick in exchange for the
real estate, hereinafter described, which the Mayor and Alder-
men of Frederick has agreed to convey to the State of Mary-
land; now, therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That the Board of Public Works and the Adjutant-
General of the State of Maryland, be and they are hereby au-
thorized to convey to the Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick,
by a proper deed, all the right, title, and estate of the State
of Maryland in and to the following two unimproved parcels
of ground, situated in Frederick City, Frederick County,
Maryland, adjoining the State Armory on the south, not now
used or needed for Armory purposes, and more particularly
described as follows:

1st. The property hereby authorized to be conveyed is a
part of the same tract of land which was conveyed to the State
of Maryland by Nelson H. Reifsnider and wife by deed dated
December 20, 1912, and recorded in Liber No. 302, folio 418,
and being further described as part of Parcel No. 4 as shown
on the plat of properties acquired by the Mayor and Aldermen
