and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
287. The said State's Attorney of said Dorchester County
in lieu of the fees heretofore received by him as provided in
Section 22 of Article 10 of the Code of Public General Laws,
or as provided for in any local law for Dorchester County,
shall receive a salary of twenty-two hundred dollars per annum
as full compensation for the entire services as required by
him by any law of this State, to be paid to him by the said
County Commissioners of Dorchester County.
288. The said salary of twenty-two hundred dollars per
annum shall be paid to the State's Attorney by the said County
Commissioners in equal monthly installments the first day of
each and every month in each and every year, and the said
County Commissioners shall levy annually the said sum of
twenty-two hundred dollars or so much thereof as may be neces-
sary for the purpose of paying the said salary to the said
State's Attorney.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts, general
or local, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be and
they are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June. 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 101.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 147 of the Acts of 1904, entitled
"An Act to regulate and equalize the pay of the Judges of
the Orphans' Court for Dorchester County" and to add a
new section to Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1888 Edition), title "Dorchester County, " sub-
title "Orphans' Court, " said new section to be known as
Section 238A and to follow immediately after Section 238
of said Article, fixing the amount of the per diem to be
received by the Judges of the Orphans' Court of Dorchester
County for their attendance upon the sessions of said Court.
