Arts to contribute not more than a total of five thousand
dollars per annum for the care and maintenance of the said
The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, and to levy
taxes sufficient to provide the amounts required by such
contracts.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Washington
County be and they are hereby authorized and empowered in
their discretion to enter into contracts with The Washington
County Museum of Fine Arts to contribute not more than a
total of five thousand dollars per annum for the care and main-
tenance of the said The Washington County Museum of Fine
Arts.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said County
Commissioners of Washington County be and they are hereby
authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to levy and
collect annually, on the assessable property of said County, a
sum of money sufficient to meet the obligations that may be
incurred by the said County Commissioners of Washington
County, under the provisions of the foregoing section.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 100.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
287 and 288 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1888 Edition), title "Dorchester County, "
sub-title "State's Attorney, " as said sections were amended
by Chapter 513 of the Acts of 1912, increasing the compen-
sation of the State's Attorney of Dorchester County.
