CHAPTER 576.

AN ACT to fix the rate and items of State taxation for each
of the years 1930 and 1931, and to levy such taxes accord-
ingly.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of the several coun-
ties of the State and the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
are directed to levy the State taxes, on each one hundred dol-
lars ($100. 00) of assessable property, to be collected accord-
ing to law, and to be apportioned for each of the years nineteen,
hundred and thirty (1930) and nineteen hundred and thirty-
one (1931), respectively, in the manner following, the tax to
aid in the support of the public schools, to be distributed ac-
cording to law among the several counties and the City of
Baltimore, and the taxes for each of the State loans, specified
to be to meet the interest and pay the installments thereof.
