the same, or the proceeds from the sale of the same, either for
the erection of buildings and additions or repairs, or equip-
ment, or for maintenance, or other hospital purposes as it
may deem proper, or for any other purpose specified in any
condition attached to such gift, devise or bequest.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 15 of
Chapter 411 of the Acts of 1927, be and the same is hereby
re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 15. And be it further enacted, That any and all
Acts or parts of Acts, or any part, or parts, of the City
Charter of Cumberland, Maryland, conflicting in any way here-
with, is or are hereby repealed in so far and to the extent that
the same shall so conflict.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is an emer-
gency law and necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public health and safety, and having been passed by a yea and
nay vote by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of
the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 6 of
Article 72 of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
title "Oysters, " sub-title "Tonging, "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 6 of Article 72 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, title "Oysters, " sub-title "Tonging, "
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments to read as follows:
Section 6. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons who
have obtained a license to take or catch oysters with rakes or
tongs to take or catch oysters in the waters of Queen Anne's,
Talbot, Anne Arundel and Dorchester Counties, or in the waters
of Kent County, exclusive of Swan Point Bar and the bar known
as Lighthouse Lump northeast of Love Point Light House, or
