CHAPTER 514.

AN ACT to repeal Section 21 of Article 26 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Courts, " sub-title
"Judgments. "

WHEREAS, Section 21 of Article 26 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1924 Edition), is a duplicate of Section 10 of
Article 50 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edi-
tion), title "Joint Obligations and Joint Tenancy, " sub-title
"Joint Obligations"; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 21 of Article 26 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Courts, " sub-title
"Judgments, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 515.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6,
Section 13 and Section 14 of Chapter 411 of the Acts of
1927, pertaining to the Memorial Hospital of Cumberland,
Maryland; to supplement said Act by incorporating the
Board of Governors of said Memorial Hospital and defining
the powers, duties and liabilities thereof, to re-enact Section
15 of said Act, and declaring this Act an emergency law.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 6, Section 13 and Section 14 of Chap-
ter 411 of the Acts of 1927, pertaining to the Memorial Hos-
pital of Cumberland, Maryland, be and the same are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as
follows, to wit:

6. That for the purpose of securing land, the erection of
suitable buildings, the purchase of proper equipment, and the
maintenance and operation of said Memorial Hospital, a Board
