CHAPTER 512.

AN ACT to repeal Section 17 of Article 11 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Banks and Trust
Companies, " sub-title "Bank Commissioner, " said section re-
lating to appropriations to Bank Commissioner.

WHEREAS, Since the adoption of the Budget Amendment, sec-
tions of the Code providing for specific appropriations to the
several departments are useless -and superfluous; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 17 of Article 11 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Banks and Trust Companies, "
sub-title "Bank Commissioner, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

Approved April 11, 1929.

CHAPTER 513.


AN ACT to repeal Section 25 of Article 91 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Surveyor and State
Survey, " sub-title "State Geological and Economic Survey, "
said section relating to appropriations for State Geological
and Economic Survey.

WHEREAS, Since the adoption of the Budget Amendment, sec-

tions of the Code providing for specific appropriations to the
several departments are useless -and superfluous; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 25 of Article 91 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Surveyor and State Survey, "
sub-title "State Geological and Economic Survey, " be and it
is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.
