in operation power boats of any description or size to be used
as police boats. Any person or persons desiring to maintain
a boat other than power boats shall be permitted so to do,
only after having obtained from the Clerk of the Circuit Court
of Garrett County an annual license, and paying therefor as
follows: One rowboat, $2.50 per annum, two rowboats or more
for hiring, $5.00 per boat per annum, each sail boat, $5.00
per annum together with a fee of twenty-five cents for each
license to the clerk for issuance of same, said license shall
specify the number, name and post-office address of licensee,
size and kind of boat licensed. Blanks for issuing said li-
censes shall bo supplied to the clerk by the Conservation Com-
missioner and countersigned by the clerk who issues same.
The clerk shall fill out the license in duplicate, one to be given
to the licensee and the other to the game warden in charge
of the area, who shall register all facts thereon in a registra-
tion book to be provided by the Conservation Department for
that purpose. The said licensee shall plainly display the num-
ber of his license in figures at least four inches in height above
the water line on both sides of the bow of the boat. The
clerk of Court shall account for the license fees to the Comp-
troller in the same manner -as described in Section 75 of this
Act.

Sec, 79. Wharf, Pier, Dock, Etc., Prohibited—Proviso.
It shall be unlawful for any person to build, construct or have
constructed or place any wharf, pier, dock, float or any pro-
jection along or running into or over the waters of this area
without first obtaining from the Conservation Commissioner
of Maryland and the lessors of said area a written permit so
to do.

Sec. 80. Appointment of Game Warden. The Conserva-
tion Commissioner of Maryland shall appoint a citizen of
Maryland to act as deputy game warden in charge of the
area herein described. The same powers and duties pertaining
to and governing the office of deputy game warden as set forth
in the game laws of Maryland shall apply to this office. The
game warden and deputy game warden of the State of Mary-
land shall also have full power to enforce the provisions of
This Act. His salary shall be fixed by the Conservation Com-
missioner not to exceed $100. 00 per month. Additional
deputy game wardens may be appointed by the Conservation
Commissioner. Such additional deputy game wardens for said
