area shall not receive a salary but shall receive as their com-
pensation one-half of all fines derived from the prosecution
of violators of this Act arrested by them.

Sec. 81. Fish Hatcheries. The Commissioner is author-
ized and empowered to establish fish hatcheries on the waters
of the areas herein mentioned for the purpose of propagation
of fish therein, and in order to help defray the expense con-
nected therewith is authorized to use the funds derived from
the issuance of licenses and all fines and penalties arising under
the provisions of this Act, except as provided for in Section 80.

Sec. 82. Licenses Herein Are In Addition to Any Other
Licenses.
The licenses required under the provisions of this
Act are separate from and in addition to any licenses now re-
quired by the State of Maryland or Garrett County for fishing
or hunting in said County.

Sec. 83. Penalty. Any persons violating any of the pro-
visions of Sections 74 to 82, inclusive, of this Article shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof
before any justice of the peace of Garrett County, or before
the circuit court of said county, shall be fined not less than
$5. 00 nor more than $50. 00 for each offense and shall stand
committed to jail until said fine, together with the costs of
prosecution are paid.

Sec. 84. Limitations. Nothing in this Act shall be con-
sidered in any manner as changing, modifying, or enlarging
any of the terms of the lease from the Youghiogheny Hydro
Electric Corporation and the Eastern Land Company to the
State of Maryland for the use of the Conservation Department
of the area involved, nor to affect in any manner the rights,
privileges and reservations of the lessors therein.

PART 4.

CRABS.

Sec. 85. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to

take, catch, or gather hard shell crabs in any of the waters of
the State of Maryland, except in the waters of Worcester
County, between the 1st day of November and the 30th clay of
April, both dates inclusive, next succeeding in each and every
year.
