CHAPTER 461.

AN ACT to repeal Section 176 of Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Corporations, "
sub-title "Cemetery Companies. "

WHEREAS, Section 176 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1924 Edition), is a duplicate of. Section 264 of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1924 Edi-
tion), title "Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "Graveyard

Desecration"; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 176 of Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Corporations, " sub-
title "Cemetery Companies, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall

take effect June 1, 1929.

Approved April 11, 1929.

CHAPTER 462.

AN ACT authorizing and directing the Mayor and Council of
Easton, a Municipal Corporation, to acquire from The Com-
munity Club of Easton, Maryland, Incorporated, a tract of
land called and known as Community Park, subject to cer-
tain rights heretofore granted to the Board of Education of
Talbot County, and further authorizing and directing the
said Municipal Corporation to levy taxes and make expedi-
tures for the improvement and maintenance of said park, and
further authorizing and directing the said Municipal Corpora-
tion to provide for a Park Board to have charge of said Com-
munity Park and of expenditures for improvement and main-
tenance of said park, as well as of other public parks, squares
and plots of ground now or hereafter owned by said Munici-
pal Corporation.

WHEREAS, The Community Club of Easton, Maryland, is the
owner of a tract of land situated in Easton, Talbot County,
Maryland, in the Southern-most part of said Town and which
said tract of land has been, for some years, and is now, used
