Public Local Laws of Maryland (1888 Edition), title "Talbot
County, " as enacted by Chapter 214 of the Acts of 1902, be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
203A, The County Commissioners of Talbot County shall
pay to the State's Attorney of said county, an annual salary of
two thousand dollars ($2, 000. 00), payable quarterly; and it
shall be unlawful for the said State's Attorney to receive, or the
County Commissioners to pay him, any other or further com-
pensation, salary, or fee of any kind whatsoever, except as
hereinafter provided.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect. June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 364.
AN ACT to amend Section 4 of the Certificate of Incorpora-
tion of the Maryland Society for the Prevention of Cruelty
to animals of Baltimore City as said section was enacted by
Chapter 77 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1908,
the purpose of said amendment being to authorize the Board
of Directors of said Society to be increased from twelve
Directors to such number as the Board of Directors, in its
discretion, may from time to time determine, not, however,
exceeding thirty Directors, and to make provision for the
election of the Directors of said Society.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 4 of the Certificate of Incorporation
of the Maryland Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Ani-
mals of Baltimore City, as said section was enacted by Chapter
77 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1908,
entitled "An Act to amend the Certificate of Incorporation of
the Maryland Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
of Baltimore City and providing, among other things, for an
election of Directors of said Society, " be and the said Section
4 of said Certificate of Incorporation is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, so as to be and read as follows:
