the said Montgomery and Prince George's Counties all the
authority and power conferred upon the State Board of Com-
missioners of Practical Plumbing by this sub-title. Provided,
however, that nothing in this section shall affect the certificates
heretofore issued by the Commissioners of Practical Plumb-
ing, but all persons who have such certificates shall have and
exercise all the rights and privileges which a holder of such
certificate has under the provisions of this sub-title, but the
renewal of such certificates shall be under the jurisdiction and
control of the said Washington Suburban Sanitary Commis-
sion.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and
they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1929.

CHAPTER 363.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
203A of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1888 Edition), title "Talbot County, " as enacted
by Chapter 214 of the Acts of 1902, said amendments rais-
ing the salary of the State's Attorney of Talbot County.

WHEREAS, The work and time required of the State's Attor-
ney for Talbot County, in the performance of his duties, both
in court and in his office, has increased from three to four fold
during the past few years, and will increase as time goes on,
on account of the growth of the population; and

WHEREAS, The State's Attorney for said county has been
required to pay out of his salary, office rent, clerical help and
other expenses, leaving him from said salary a very small com-
pensation for the services rendered; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Section 203A of Article 21 of the Code of
