SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and it is hereby added to
Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Garrett County, " to be under sub-title "Court Bailiff, "
to be known as Section 31-B, to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 31-A of said Article and to read as follows:
"31-B. The County Commissioners of Garrett County shall
levy annually for the bailiff of the Circuit Court for said
county, three dollars and fifty cents ($3. 50) per day for his
services as such bailiff, and the treasurer of said county shall
pay said bailiff at the close of each session of the court for his
services during said session.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 61.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
91-A of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Washington County, " sub-title "County
Commissioners, " as said section was repealed and re-enacted
with amendments by Chapter 51 of the Acts of 1924.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 91-A of Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washington County, "
sub-title "County Commissioners, " as said section was re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments by Chapter 51 of
the Acts of 1924, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:
91-A. The County Commissioners of Washington County
now in office and those hereafter elected to said office shall
each receive for their services an annual salary of one thou-
sand dollars ($1, 000. 00), payable in monthly instalments.
The County Commissioners shall each receive mileage at the
rate of ten cents per mile for every mile over six miles from
their places of residence.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1927.
