SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and the same is hereby added
to Article 12 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Garrett County, " sub-title "Dogs, " to be known as Section 93
and to take the place of Section 93 of said Article, which was
repealed by Chapter 497 of the Acts of 1918, and to read as
follows:
93. All license fees for dogs in Garrett County shall here-
after be collected by a Constable to be appointed for that pur-
pose by the County Commissioners of said County. Said Con-
stable shall retain twenty-five per cent, of such fees so collected
as his remuneration. The license fees shall be One Dollar
($1. 00) per annum for each male dog or spayed female dog
and Three Dollar s, ($3. 00) for each unspayed female dog in
said County. Said Constable shall in all respects take the:
place of the several Constables in the several election districts;
of said County heretofore charged with the duty of collecting;
said license fees in Garrett County under Sections 206 to 208,
inclusive, of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1924 Edition), title "Revenue and Taxes, " sub-title "Taxa-
tion of Dogs"; but in all respects, except as herein expressly
provided, said entire sub-title consisting of Sections 206 to
212, inclusive, of said Article 81 shall continue to apply in
Garrett County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts and parts
of Acts inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed to the extent,
of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 60.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Garrett County, "
to be under sub-title "Court Bailiff, " to be known as Section
31-B and to follow immediately after Section 31-A of said
Article, fixing the compensation to be paid the court bailiff
for Garrett County.
