CHAPTER 58.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 276
of Melvin's Code of Public Local Laws for Anne Arundel
County (1914), entitled "Justices of the Peace" and "Con-
stables, " as the same was enacted by Chapter 334 of the Acts
of 1892.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 276 of Melvin's Code of Public Local
Laws for Anne Arundel County, entitled "Justices of the
Peace" and "Constables, " as the same was enacted by Chapter
334 of the Acts of 1892.
Section 276. Each Justice of the Peace of the Sixth Dis-
trict of said County for his services in criminal cases shall
receive from the County Commissioners the sum of Seventy-
Five Dollars per month, payable in cash or by levy equivalent
to cash on the day of his. making his report as hereinbefore pro-
vided, and shall not directly or indirectly charge or receive any
other fees or compensation for hearing of criminal cases, except
he shall be allowed the sum of Fifty Dollars per month by the
Mayor, Counsellor and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis for
services rendered in cases for violation of the Code of said City.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June first, nineteen hundred and twenty-seven.

CHAPTER 59.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 12 of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Garrett County, " sub-title
"Dogs, " to be known as Section 93 and to take the place of
Section 93 of said Article, which was repealed by Chapter
497 of the Acts of 1918, said section providing that Sections
206 to 208, inclusive, of Article 81 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1924 Edition), title "Revenue and Taxes, "
sub-title "Taxation of Dogs, " be repealed with respect to
Garrett County in so far that all license fees for dogs in
said County shall be collected by a Constable appointed by
the County Commissioners and changing the license fees.
