CHAPTER 341.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
217-B of Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Kent County, " sub-title "Wild Fowl, " as
the same was amended by Chapter 127 of the Acts of 1924.

CHAPTER 342.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 96
of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Washington County, " sub-title "County Com-
missioners, " as said section was amended by Chapter 35 of
the Acts of 1924 increasing the compensation of the County
Clerk.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 96 of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Washington County, " sub-title,
'' County Commissioners, '' as said section was amended by Chap-
ter 35 of the Acts of 1924 be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:

SEC. 96. The County Clerk shall receive for his services an
annual salary of Twenty-four hundred dollars ($2, 400. 00) and
no more, payable in equal monthly installments by the County
Commissioners of Washington County, and the said County
Commissioners are hereby authorized and required to levy the
needful taxes on the assessable property within the county liable
to taxation as shall be sufficient to pay said salary.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

Approved April 5, 1927.

CHAPTER 343.

AN ACT making the rates, rents and charges for the use and
services of sewers, drains and water as determined and
charged by the Mayor and Council of Hagerstown, liens
upon the property used or served by said sewers, drains or
water, and providing that the same shall be collected as are
municipal taxes.
