SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 4 of Chapter 227 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, session of 1924, entitled "An Act to in-
corporate the Liberty Life Insurance Company of Baltimore, "
be and the same is hereby repealed and reenacted so as to read
as follows: —
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted as aforesaid, That the
capital stock of said corporation shall be ten thousand dollars,
divided into ten thousand shares of the par value of one dollar
a share. Said corporation shall not issue any certificates or con-
tracts of insurance until the full amount of the authorized cap-
ital stock shall have been subscribed and paid for in cash, at not
less than par, and shall have been invested in securities ap-
proved by the State Insurance Commissioner and actually de-
posited with said Commissioner for the protection of the policy
holders of said Company. No policy or certificate shall be issued
for more than one thousand dollars ($1, 000) death benefits.

CHAPTER 316.
AN ACT to approve and ratify an agreement of the State
Roads Commission, the Board of Public Works and the
County Commissioners of Harford and Cecil Counties with
The Susquehanna Power Company, providing for the sub-
stitution of a new bridge to be constructed by The Susque-
hanna Power Company for the Conowingo Bridge, and for
the relocation of the State and County roads in and adjacent
to the territory which will be flooded by the pool of said
Company; and to authorize the execution of deeds and re-
leases in pursuance of said agreement.
WHEREAS, by the terms of a certain agreement, dated Novem-
ber 2nd, 1925, made by and between The Susquehanna Power
Company, the State Roads Commission of Maryland, the Board
of Public Works of Maryland, the County Commissioners of
Harford County and the County Commissioners of Cecil Coun-
ty, provision was made for the construction of a bridge across
the Susquehanna River, in lieu of the Conowingo Bridge, in ac-
cordance with certain specifications, by The Susquehanna Pow-
er Company, at one of three sites mentioned in said agreement,
and for the construction by said Company of new roads to take
the place of such parts of the State and County roads as will
