land: said Two Justices of the Peace shall, by virtue of their
office be the Police Magistrates for the Mayor and Councilmen
of Frostburg, Allegany County, Maryland, and shall act as
such for six months in turn in each year upon such compensa-
tion as the Mayor and Councilmen of Frostburg may deter-
mine; they shall possess all powers and authority for the
determination of criminal and civil cases as shall be brought
before them as is now provided or may hereafter be provided
by law. The Civil jurisdiction of said Justices shall be the
same as provided for in Article 52, Sections 5 to 11, inclu-
sive, of the Annotated Code of Maryland except as to amount
which shall not exceed Two Hundred Dollars.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That all Acts or parts
of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act in so far
a: s they relate to Justices of the Peace in said Election Dis-
tricts hereinbefore mentioned, be and the same are hereby
repealed.
SEC. 3. This Act is hereby declared to be an emergency
law and necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
safety, and being passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all the members of the General Assembly the
same shall take effect the first Monday in May, 1927.

AN ACT to regulate the catching of Rainbow Trout in the
Youghiogheny River in Garrett County, Maryland, regu-
lating the open season and the size of fish to be removed
from said waters.

AN ACT to authorize and require the County Commissioners
of Baltimore County to make a special levy of not more than
five cents per front foot on each lot situate in the village of
Middleborough, Baltimore County, for the use and purpose
of the betterment of the roads and sidewalks in said village,
