SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the County Treas-
urer for Wicomico County shall keep in a book to be provided
for that purpose, a full registry of the bonds sold, the serial
numbers of said bonds, the names of the purchasers, the
amounts realized thereon and all redemptions and maturities
thereof.
SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That the question
whether said bonds shall be issued by the County Commis-
sioners for Wicomico County shall be submitted to the regis-
tered and qualified voters of said Wicomico County at the
regular election to be held in November, 1928, and there
shall be printed on each ballot the words "For Wicomico
County School and Road Bonds" and "Against Wicomico
County School and Road Bonds, " the same to be printed on
the ballots so as to give the voters an opportunity to desig-
nate by a cross (X) in a square or box opposite the above-
mentioned words his answer to said question. If a majority
of those voting on said question at said election shall be in
favor of issuing the above-mentioned bonds, then this Act shall
immediately become effective, but if a majority of those vot-
ing on the question shall be against the issuing of said bonds,
this Act shall be of no effect and said bonds shall not be issued.
SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1927,

CHAPTER 284.
AN ACT authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Cumber-
land to establish a Municipal Band and to make yearly
appropriations for its maintenance and support.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland,
be, and they are hereby, authorized, empowered and directed
to establish a Municipal Band for the City of Cumberland for
the purpose of giving free concerts to the people of Cumberland
and for such other purposes as they may, from time to time,
designate.
