work for which said bonds are issued; and no part of the
money arising from the sale of said bonds shall be used except
for the purposes designated and provided for in this Act; pro-
vided, that the costs of engraving or printing said bonds and,
the costs of advertising authorized by this Act, and the other
incidental expenses connected with the issuance of said bonds,
may be paid out of said funds.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted. That after the payment
of the expenses provided for in the preceding Section, Five
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500, 000. 00) of the money aris-
ing from the sale of said bonds shall be paid over to the Board
of Education of Wicomico County when demand shall be

made for payment, to be used in its discretion and under
its supervision and direction for the building and equipping
of the school buildings at Hebron, Pittsville and Salisbury,
in said Wicomico County, and for that purpose the Board of
Education is clothed with full authority to contract for, super-
vise, direct and control such work in such manner as its dis-
cretion may deem to the best public interest, and full power
is given to it to employ and pay over from said funds all
architects, builders or other persons, supervisors or agents, as
may in the judgment of said Board of Education be and seem
advisable, and the balance of the proceeds of the sale of said
bonds shall be appropriated and used under the direction,
supervision and management of the County Commissioners
for Wicomico County, for the purpose of construction, re-
construction, improving, maintaining, laying down or open-
ing of such public roads in Wicomico County as may be desig-
nated by the County Commissioners for Wicomico County,
and for the acquiring of such rights-of-way for such construc-
tion as may be necessary.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose
of paying the interest on said bonds and for redeeming the
said bonds as they may mature, the said County Commission-
ers for Wicomico County shall for the year 1929 and annu-
ally thereafter until all of said bonds issued under the author-
ity of this Act shall mature and be redeemed, levy a tax upon
the assessable property of said Wicomico County sufficient to
pay the annual interest on said bonds outstanding and to re-
deem said bonds as they mature and become due, said taxes
to be collected as other taxes levied in said County are col-
lected.
