SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 144, 155 and 159 of Article 7 of
the Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Carroll County, "
sub-title "Taneytown, " Section 155 having been amended by
Chapter 240 of the Acts of 1920, be and the same are hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:

144. The corporate limits of said town of Taneytown shall
begin at a stone marked Number One, planted on the east edge
of the Uniontown road on the southeast corner of John Beard's
lot, and running thence as now laid out, south fifty-eight and
three-quarter degrees east twenty-one and six-tenths perches to
the southeast corner of an alley, thence with the said alley,
south fifty-one and one-half degrees east one hundred eighty-
seven and two-tenths perches to a stone numbered three, north
forty-one degrees east thirty-two perches to a stone numbered
four, north forty-nine and one-half degrees west one hundred
fifty-seven and one-tenth perches to a stone numbered five,
north forty and one-quarter degrees east twenty-five and one-
tenth perches to a stone numbered six on the edge of the Mill
Road, thence with said road, north sixty-two degrees west
thirty-three and eight-tenths perches to a stone numbered seven,
north forty and one-half degrees west twenty-nine and six-
tenths perches to a stone numbered eight, on the edge of the
said Mill Road, thence north fifty-two degrees east twenty-five
and nine-tenths perches to a stone numbered nine at the end of
five and eleven twenty-fifths; perches on a line drawn south
fifty-eight degrees east from the northeast corner of the high
school building, thence north fourteen and one-half degrees
west forty and fourteen-hundredths perches to a stone num-
bered ten on the west side of the railroad, north thirty-three
degrees west fifty-three and four-tenths perches to stone num-
bered eleven, south fifty-nine and one-half degrees west nine-
teen and two-tenths perches to a stone numbered twelve, north
thirty-two and one-half degrees west fifty-three and one-half
perches to a stone numbered thirteen on the west side of a road-
way, thence south fifty-nine and one-half degrees west twenty
perches to a stone numbered fourteen, thence north sixty-five
and three-fourth degrees west forty perches to a stone num-
bered fifteen, south forty-two degrees west twenty-four perches
to the Emmitsburg Road, thence south thirty-six degrees west
sixty perches to the northwest corner of Reformed Cemetery
at a stone numbered seventeen, thence with Cemetery south two
degrees west twenty perches to stone numbered eighteen at
