414 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 229

NECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That four additional sections be added to Offutt's
Revised Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore County, 1916,
to be known as Sections 194-A, 194-B, 194-C and 194-D and to
read as follows:

Section 194-A. That the boundary line between the Eighth
and Ninth Election Districts of Baltimore County as now laid
down be changed and that the line which hereafter shall divide-
said districts shall be as follows: Beginning for the same at the
intersection of the centre of Seminary Avenue with the centre
of the Lutherville Road, running thence binding on the centre
of Seminary Avenue in an Easterly direction to the centre of
the York Road, running thence along the centre of the York
Road in a Northerly direction to the Southernmost outline of
the Eighth Election. District as formerly laid out, running
thence binding on the Southernmost outline aforesaid in a
Westerly direction to the centre of the Lutherville Road, run-
ning thence binding on the centre of the. Lutherville Road in a
Southwesterly and Southerly direction to the place of begin-
ning.

Section 194-B. And be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Board of Supervisors of Elec-
tion of Baltimore County shall cause to be stricken from the list
of qualified voters on the registration books thereof before the
next election in Baltimore County, the names of all persons.
residing in that portion of the Ninth District by this Act made
a part of the Eighth Election District arid shall cause such
names so stricken off as aforesaid to be transferred to the
registration books of the Eighth Election District of Balti-
more County.

Section 194-C. And be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the Board of Supervisors of Elec-
tion of Baltimore County, in their judgment and discretion,
from time to time may sub-divide the election precincts of the
Eighth and Ninth Election Districts, as now established, or
sub-divide and change the boundary of any precinct or establish
additional precincts in either the said Eighth or Ninth Dis-
tricts of Baltimore County, and they are hereby empowered
and authorized to make such sub-division or addition and to
establish the boundaries of such sub-division or additions in
such a way as to facilitate and expedite the casting of their
ballots by the voters thereof.
