Dorchester County, and shall be dated the first day of Janu-
ary of the year of issuance, any interest accruing thereon be-
tween said date and the date of sale to be provided for by
the said County Commissioners in the terms of sale to be pre-
scribed by them. The said bonds shall be sold by inviting
sealed proposals for the purchase of the same, and the ad-
vertisements of such sale, the terms thereof and all details
in respect thereto shall be made by the said County Com-
missioners; and they shall have the right to reject any and all
bids that may be made for the purchase of said bonds, or
any part thereof, and in case of rejection may readvertise
said bonds for sale at such time and in such manner as they
may deem expedient.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the County Commis-
sioners of Dorchester County be and they are hereby empow-
ered to levy annually upon the assessable property of said
Dorchester County a tax sufficient to pay the interest on
said bonds, as it becomes due, and also to pay off and redeem
said bonds when they respectively mature and become pay-
able, the said tax to be collected in like manner as other taxes
levied in said county are collected.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the proceeds derived from
the sale of the bonds aforesaid, after deducting therefrom
the expense incident to the preparation, printing, issuance and
sale of the same, aforesaid, shall be paid over by the said
County Commissioners unto the Board of Education of Dor-
chester County, who shall receive the said money and carry
the same into two accounts, to be kept separately, one for
one-fifth of the net amount of said proceeds, to be designated
as the "Hurlock School Fund", and the other for four-fifths
of the net amount of said proceeds, to be designated as the
"Cambridge School Fund", and it shall disburse the said
funds, in manner hereinafter set forth, for the following pur-
poses: the "Hurlock School Fund" shall be applied to the
erection of a new school building in the town of Hurlock and
to the purchasing of a site for the same, or to the enlargement
of the present High School Building in said town, as shall
be determined by the "Hurlock School Committee, " herein-
after appointed, and to the equipment and furnishing of the
building so to be decided upon, and to such other purposes
as may be incidental thereto; the "Cambridge School Fund"
shall be applied to the erection of a school building in the
city of Cambridge, purchasing a site for such building and
equipping and furnishing the same; and, also, in the discretion
of the Committee hereinafter named, to renovating and enlarg-
ing other school buildings, in said city of Cambridge, and for
other purposes incidental thereto.
