the cost of the maintenance of the County Farm and County
Home, and of the support of the inmates of County Home.

SEC. 20. And be it further enacted, That at the presiden-
tial election to be held on the Tuesday next after the first
Monday of November, in the year nineteen hundred and
twenty eight, there shall be submitted to the qualified voters
of Garrett County, the question whether or not the said Coun-
ty Farm shall be bought and the said County Home established
thereon, and at such election the ballots used and cast upon
the question shall have printed or written thereon the words
"Por the County Farm and County Home" and "Against the
County Farm and County Home, " and if the majority of the
votes cast upon said question shall be "For the County Farm
and County Home, " then the County Commissioners of Garrett
County shall proceed to exercise the power vested in them by
this Act and shall buy the said County Farm and establish the
said County Home as herein provided; but if the majority of the
votes cast upon the said question shall be "Against the County
Farm and County Home, '' then this Act shall be null and void
and said County Farm shall not be bought, nor shall the said
County Home be established.

SEC. 21. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

CHAPTER 216.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 36
of Article 14 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Howard County, " sub-title "Circuit Court, " the same pro-
viding for the terms of court and repealing all laws incon-
sistent therewith.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 36' of Article 14 of the Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Howard County, " sub-title, "Circuit
Court, " be and the same is hereby repealed and reenacted so
as to read as follows:

36. There shall be two terms of the Circuit Court for How-
ard County, held at Ellicott City, in said County, on the third
Monday of March and the third Monday of September
in each year.
