CHAPTER 186.

AN ACT to repeal Article 6 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land, title "Apprentices. '"

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 6 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title
'''Apprentices" be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.

Approved March 25, 1927.

CHAPTER 187.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section 374
of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(Revised Edition of 1915), title "City of Baltimore, " sub-
title "Criers, Bailiffs, Watchmen and Stenographers, " as
said section was amended by Chapter 245 of the Act of 1924,
increasing the salaries of bailiffs for the several courts of
Baltimore City, and to repeal and reenact with amendments
Section 353 of said Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, sub-title "Orphans' Court, " as said sec-
tion was amended by Chapter 125 of the Acts of 1920, in-
creasing the salary of the Bailiffs of the Orphans' Court, of
Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Nary-
land, That Section 374 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (Revised Edition of 1915), title "City of
Baltimore, " sub-title "Criers, Bailiffs, Watchmen and Stenog-
raphers, " as said section was amended by Chapter 245 of the
Acts of 1924, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments to read as follows:

374. The City Register shall pay to the bailiffs respectively
of the Superior Court of Baltimore City, of the Court of Com-
mon Pleas of Baltimore City, of the Baltimore City Court, of
the Circuit Court of Baltimore City, of the Circuit Court No.
2 of Baltimore City and of the Criminal Court of Baltimore
City the sum of two thousand five hundred dollars per annum
as and for their respective salaries at the same time and in the
