operated by the said Commissioners of Aberdeen as a munici-
pal enterprise; and,
WHEREAS, The said Commissioners of Aberdeen sold the
electrical distribution system aforesaid to the Northern Mary-
land Electric Company, and by the deed of said Commissioners,
dated the 7th of February, 1925, and recorded among the Land
Records of Harford County in Liber D. G. W. No. 191, folio
398, granted and conveyed the same to the said Northern
Maryland Power Company, Assignee of the said Northern1
Maryland Electric Company; and,
WHEREAS, The Public Service Commission of Maryland, by
its Orders duly passed, permitted and approved the sale by
the said Commissioners of Aberdeen to the said Northern
Maryland Electric Company of the distribution system afore-
said, and the conveyance thereof to said Northern Maryland
Power Company; and,
WHEREAS, It has been suggested that the said Commission-
ers of Aberdeen, as a municipal corporation as aforesaid, did
not have the power and authority to make sale and conveyance
of its aforesaid distribution system as aforesaid. Now, there-
fore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sale and conveyance by the said Commis-
sioners of Aberdeen to the Northern Maryland Power Com-
pany of its electrical distribution system, as described in the
deed from said Commissioners to the Northern Maryland
Power Company, dated the 7th of February, 1925, and re-
corded among the Land Records of Harford County in Liber
D. G. W. No. 191, folio 398, be and the same is hereby ratified
and approved, and the said Commissioners of Aberdeen are
hereby further authorized to execute and deliver to the said
Northern Maryland Power Company, or its assigns, such other
and further instruments of writing as may be necessary and
proper to assure the title to said distribution system to said
Northern Maryland Power Company, or its assigns.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1st, 1927.
