471. The Baltimore County Roads Engineer shall give
bond to the County Commissioners of Baltimore County con-

ditioned upon the faithful discharge of his duties and the pro-
tection of said County Commissioners against loss or damage
by reason of any act, default, neglect, false or fraudulent state-
ment of his whatsoever in the penal sum of $10, 000. He shall
have no pecuniary interest in the affairs of any person, com-
pany or corporation from whom or which he makes any pur-
chase or with whom or which the County Commissioners make
any contract, in respect to county roads and bridges, or in any
contract in relation to the same. The Baltimore County Roads
Engineer shall receive a salary, the amount thereof to be fixed
by the County Commissioners of Baltimore County, and travel-
ing expenses to be determined by said County Commissioners.

CHAPTER 185.

AN ACT to ratify and approve the sale heretofore made by
the Commissioners of Aberdeen to the Northern Maryland
Power Company of the electrical distribution system in the
Town of Aberdeen, in Harford County, Maryland, consist-

ing of poles, cross-arms, insulators, transformers, meters,
etc., and authorizing the said Commissioners of Aberdeen
to confirm the conveyance and transfer of said property to
said Northern Maryland Power Company by the execution
and delivery of proper instruments of writing for that pur-
pose.

WHEREAS, By Chapter 136 of the Acts of 1892 of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, the citizens of Aberdeen and its
vicinity in Harford County were constituted a body corporate
by the name of "The Commissioners of Aberdeen"; and

WHEREAS, The said Commissioners of Aberdeen thereafter
acquired and constructed an electrical distribution system in
said town of Aberdeen for the purpose of distributing elec-
trical current to the residents thereof, the same consisting of
poles, cross-arms, wires, insulators, transformers, meters, etc.,
which entire system was for a number of years owned and
