applicant they both agree that such applicant is a qualified
voter in accordance with the provisions of Section T hereof,
they shall each register his or her name, and all persons so
registered shall be entitled to vote at town elections so long as
their names appear upon such registration books.

The Supervisors of Election, acting as Registration Officials,
on the first of said registration days herein provided for, when-
ever an affidavit is made before them by any registered voter
of said town that any name upon said books is not entitled to
be thereon, shall note said name, and shall, by placing in the
United States mail addressed to said voter at the place of resi-
dence set out in said registration books with sufficient postage
prepaid, a notice that his name has been noted for striking off
and that they will act thereon on the second day of registra-
tion, notify the party whose name has been noted that they
will act upon his right to remain upon said books on said
second day of registration. The said Supervisors of Election,
sitting as Registration Officials, may also on said first regis-
tration day take such action with regard to any name of their
own motion. On the second of said registration days the
said Supervisors of Election sitting as Registration Officials
shall pass upon all of the names noted as above set out, and
after hearing such evidence as may be presented before them,
shall determine whether such name shall remain upon said
books, or shall be stricken off, and in case they shall decide that
any of such names shall be stricken off, they shall draw a line
in red ink through such names on the registration books and
shall write in red ink at the end of said line the words "stricken
off, " the reason therefor, and the date, and the party whose
name is thus stricken off shall not be entitled to vote in said
town until his name be replaced thereon as hereinafter pro-
vided.

Any person feeling aggrieved at the action of the Supervisors
of Election acting as Registration Officials in refusing to reg-
ister them, or in striking his name from the books, or in regis-
tering some other person, or refusing to strike from the books
the name of some other person, shall have the right of appeal to
the Circuit Court of Prince George's County at any time with-
in five days, exclusive of Sundays and legal holidays, from the
action of the Officials by whom he is aggrieved, which appeal
shall be by way of petition for review addressed to said Court
and naming as defendants the Registration Officials and the
party whose name the petitioner desires to have stricken from
