the books, if it be such a case, and said Court shall, as soon
as possible, set said case for hearing and notify the defendants
and require the presence at such hearing of the Registration
Officials aforesaid, and if the determination of said Court
upon such question is different from the determination thereof
made by the Registration Officials, it shall direct such Officials

to correct their records in accordance with its order, which said
Registration Officials shall forthwith do.

Section 7-C. And be it further enacted, That annually,
after due notice printed in some county newspaper having gen-
eral circulation in the town, the Supervisors of Election shall
appoint two Clerks who shall receive five dollars each for each
and every day they may be required to serve, and conduct an
election by ballot on the fourth Monday of June, if not a legal
holiday, and if. a legal holiday, then on the day following, for
the election of officers provided for in Section 5 of this Act.
The polls shall be opened between the hours of one and eight
P. M. The Judges of Election shall prepare ballots contain-
ing the names of those persons who have complied with the
provisions specified in Section 8 of this Act, making them
eligible to become a candidate for the office for which they seek.
The Mayor and Town Council shall receive all returns of elec-
tions and determine all cases arising thereunder, except as
otherwise provided by Section 7-B of this Act, and any voter
who feels that he has been aggrieved by any ruling as to the
eligibility or his right to vote may file an appeal to the Circuit
Court for Prince George's County and the same shall be de-
termined by said Court.

Any person offering to vote whose name shall appear upon
the registration books and who shall establish his identity to the

satisfaction of the Judges of Election shall be furnished by one
of the Judges with an official ballot having the initials of said
Judge thereon, and he shall then repair to one of the booths
or compartments provided and therein mark his ballot with a
pencil making a cross (X) in the square opposite the name of
each candidate for whom he may desire to vote. He shall then
fold the ballot without displaying the marks thereon and re-
turn it to one of the Judges of Election who shall in his
presence deposit it in the ballot box. Any voter who shall mar
a ballot so that he cannot vote it may return said ballot to the
Judge and receive another in its stead, and he shall in the same
way be entitled to a third ballot, but no more. Said marred
