The above levies making an aggregate levy for State taxes
of twenty-five and sixty-four one-hundredths cents (25.64c) for
the year nineteen hundred and twenty-eight (1928), and of
twenty-five and seventy-four one-hundredths cents (25.74c) for
the year nineteen hundred and twenty-nine (1929) on each one
hundred dollars ($100) of assessable property.

And there shall be duly levied, in accordance with law, the

same State taxes on the shares of the capital stock of all banks,
State and National, and other incorporated institutions and
companies of this State, the shares of whose capital stock are
liable to assessment and taxation.

CHAPTER 689.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 3 of
Article 4 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Alms-
houses and Trustees of the Poor," authorizing the several
Counties of the State to provide for the maintenance of cer-
tain pauper children.
