SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 30 of Article 81 of the Annotated
Code of Marvland. title "Revenue and Taxes," sub-title "Rate

and Items of State Tax," as said section was amended by
Chapter 572 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of 1924, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, so as to read as follows:

30. The Countv Commissioners of the several counties of

the State, and the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore are

directed to lew the State taxes, on each one hundred dollars

($100) of assessable property, to be collected according to law,
and to be apportioned for each of the years nineteen hundred
and twenty-eight (1928) and nineteen hundred and twenty-
nine (1929), respectively, in the manner following, the tax
to aid in the support of the public schools, to be distributed
according to law among the several Counties and the City of
Baltimore, and the taxes for each of the State loans specified
to be to meet the interest and pay the installments thereof.
