regulations and by-laws as may be necessary for the management
and proper government of said Corporation, and for the care,
safe-keeping, instruction; disciplining and employment of the
children under its care and control, not contrary to the laws of
this State or the provisions of this charter; said by-laws may
be altered or amended at any time in the discretion of said Cor-
poration, by a vote of two-thirds of the Board of Trustees thereof.
SEC. 13. And be it further enacted, That said Corporation
shall be managed and controlled by a Board of Trustees, se-
lected by the congregations of said churches having membership
in this Association or Corporation, said Trustees to be selected
on a basis of one Trustee for each one hundred members, or
fractional part thereof of each, congregation or church having
membership therein, provided always that at least three mem-
bers of said Board of Trustees shall be citizens of Garrett Coun-
ty and State of Maryland; the qualifications and duties of said
Trustees shall be provided for by "the by-laws of said Corpora-
tion.
SEC. 14. And be it further enacted, That the fiscal year of
said Corporation shall begin and end on the first Monday in
May in each and every year.
SEC. 15. And be it further enacted, That there shall be an
annual-meeting of said Corporation, held in each and every year
within sixty days after the close of the fiscal year, on such, date
and at such place as shall be fixed by the by-laws of said Cor-
poration, at which said meeting the Trustees and other officers
of said Corporation shall render a full report of the work and
operations of said Corporation during the past year, and of the
financial condition thereof.
SEC. 16. And be it further enacted. That any congregation
of the Conservative Amish Mennonite Church, or the Old Or-
der Amish Mennonite Church, shall be eligible to membership
in this Association, and any member thereof possessing the qual-
ifications prescribed by the by-laws of said Corporation shall be
eligible as members of the Board of Trustees, or to fill any other
office of said Corporation.
SEC. 17. And be it further enacted, That H. S. Yoder and
Noah Brenneman and S. J. Miller and J. E. Hershberger and
Abiah Byler and Ezra Yoder, be, and they are hereby designated
as Trustees to manage and control the affairs of said Corpora-
tion, until the first General Election under this charter.
SEC. 18. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1927.
