CHAPTER 625.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of Queen Anne's County and the County Commissioners of
Caroline County to levy certain sums of money for the pur-
pose of making a survey, plans and specifications and esti-
mate of the cost of opening Long Marsh Ditch lying between
Queen Anne's and Caroline Counties, requiring the Road
Engineers to give aid and assistance.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County
are hereby authorized and directed to levy on the assessable
property of Queen Anne's County during the year 1927 the
sum of ($666. 66) six hundred and sixty-six dollars and sixty-
six cents, as the part to be furnished by Queen Anne's County
for the purpose of making a survey, plans and specifications
of Long Marsh Ditch.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Commissioners
of Caroline County are hereby authorized and directed to levy
on the assessable property of Caroline County, during the year
1927 the sum of ($333. 64) three hundred and thirty-three
dollars and sixty four cents, as the part to be furnished by
Caroline County for the purpose of making a survey, plans and
specifications of Long Marsh Ditch.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the Commissioners
of Queen Anne's County and the Commissioners of Caroline
County are hereby authorized and directed to engage some
competent engineer to make a survey, prepare plans and speci-
fications, estimate the cost, and make such recommendations
the judgment of said engineer will be the most prac-
